Adorable, however may not be the right word 🤔... to describe the name of a literal Greek god, Adonis, the god of beauty and desire in Greek 📖mythology. Greek Gods & Goddesses says on Adonis, "When most people hear the name Adonis, they imagine masculine beauty and the desire of women. Even today, the name is synonymous with physical perfection in men." 

PerfectName.us discloses, "Adonis has been popular throughout history, appearing in various forms across different cultures. In the Middle East, for example, it is used as both a given name and a surname. It has also gained popularity in other parts of the world, particularly in Europe and North America, where it is often associated with its Greek origins."

I know of one 📛Adonis 🤗 in my own life —  through a childhood acquaintance from my 🗽NYC neighborhood  growing up. In ⏪2023 I ran into her after finding out from her father a year earlier she had a 👶son named Adonis. When we were catching up, I 🎉congratulated her and I remarked I loved her son's name 👍🏾👍🏾 and made sure to mention how it was 🎙Drake's son's name too. 😎 She thanked me with a smile 🙂 but didn't share if she named her son Adonis because she was a Drake fan. I think it's really something I know an Adonis only because it was one of my favorite names in either middle or high 🏫school (the myth of Adonis stuck out to me when learning about the god in class... I think...🤔 because that's the only way I would have come across the name) 💯%. I had it stored for the name of my future son (as an adult❗😅). I remember telling my old best friend how much I liked the name as a future baby name and she laughed asking incredulously, "Adonis?!" She thought it was "too much" basically. 🙄 As an adult I eventually outgrew that name as a choice for a hypothetical son's name of mine 😭 but I still liked the name... only in secret kind of. 🤐 I still really love 🥰 the name 📛Adonis today. 🤷🏾‍♀️ 

Is 📛Adonis an arrogant 😏 name to give or have? ✋🏾Yes. No.⛔ 😔Maybe so... It definitely takes a parent guts 👌🏾 to give a name loaded with the pressure to be flawless, to a little 💙boy (it's like naming a 💗girl 📛Pretty) and to wear the name with confidence (yet humbly hopefully too), as a man. 😰 As for Drake choosing 📛Adonis — it's the perfect name (📛Romeo💘 I'd go with as a 🥈runner up, followed by 📛Beau🪞) for the son of Drake.

Initially, I was not 🙅🏾‍♀️ a fan of the name 📛Drake. I thought it was a made up 🤷🏾‍♀️ stage name when I first heard of Drake the rapper's name being that. I equated the name Drake usually with the lusty 🥵leads of 🥱boring ⏪historical 💞romance novels.📕 I used to even often confuse Drake with the name 📛Declan (I don't like❗). Then I found out years later that Drake was the rapper's real name — his middle however (I like it more than his first name admittedly. 🙋🏾‍♀️ It can get tricky, not to mix up 📛Aubrey [📑FYI I almost forgot 🤦🏾‍♀️: I have a 2nd male cousin named Aubrey ❗ We weren't close so I'm not sure how he spells his name.] with 📛Audrey. 😬 It makes me wonder if his first name was that instead, would he have used Drey as his stage name? 🤔 because it sounds like Drake...) and I thought that was really cool. 😎 As I became a fan of his 🎶music, I started to like the name Drake. Still I'm not the biggest fan of 📛Drake the name as a whole. 😖 📛Drake may not be one of my absolute favorite names — however it's still a ✔good, ✔strong💪, ✔masculine name that I can appreciate. 👌🏾 But I am a big fan 😍 of 📛Drake — being the rapper Drake's name.

Brian Austin Green Reveals His Real Name

⏪90s 📺90210's 💓heartthrob David Silver aka Brian Austin Green — recently shared that Brian Austin Green isn't his real name. 😮

I used to be a huge 90210 fan 🙋🏾‍♀️ so this 📛name 📰news really piqued my interest. 👀 🧐What could his real name be then? Something so shockingly different? 😨 Or just the ↪first↩ and ↪middle↩ name swap of being: Austin Brian Green perhaps? 🤔

Turns out it's much more simpler. Brian Austin Green's real name is just: 📛Brian Green.

He was not given a middle name by his parents as a boy. 😕 

He gave himself a middle name as a man. 🙂

On the podcast 🎙Pod Meets World🌎 he is featured on, he tells his name story: “My mom had a whole name planned for me when she was pregnant and I had really broad shoulders as a baby, so she had a real hard time in labor. And my dad—who smoked a lot of pot at this point in life—while my mom was in the middle of labor, he came forward, and he was like, ‘Can we name him Brian?’” Joking that his mom’s reaction was, “Name him, whatever the f--- you want. Just get him out of me,” Brian continues, “That was literally the only name he came up with. He came up with no middle name, no anything. So, it was just Brian Green.”

⏩Fast forward to Brian as a young man and entering his acting career. He explains, “All of a sudden, SAG is going, ‘Yeah, there's another Brian Green in the union so you have to come up with a middle name,’” Brian recalled, later adding, “I don't think you can be in the union with the same name as somebody else. You have to have some sort of thing that differentiates so they can keep track of checks when they come in. They can monitor, they can do all the stuff that they, as a union, do."

Brian remarks on his hunt for a middle 📛 name, "Brian Green is not a very easy name to come up with a middle name for, where the whole thing flows very well. We almost named me Brian Peter Green after my mom's dad, but then my initials would have been P, so it was Brian P. Green, and they’re like, 'that’s probably not a good start.' That'll make or break a career so, we went through a bunch of names, and we ended up going through the map and Austin fit."

Today is the 🎂birthday of my favorite 🎥actor (who portrayed one of my favorite film characters: 0️⃣0️⃣7️⃣ aka James Bond) Daniel Craig 😍 — therefore I will discuss one of my 🤗 favorite 📛names of all time 🏆 for men/boys💙: 📛Daniel.

Daniel is from the Hebrew name דָּנִיֵּאל (Daniyyel) meaning "God is my judge", from the roots דִּין (din) meaning "to judge" and אֵל (ʾel) meaning "God". Daniel was a Hebrew prophet whose story is told in the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament — he lived during the Jewish captivity in Babylon, where he served in the court of the king, rising to prominence by interpreting the king's dreams  — and presenting Daniel's four visions of the end of the world. 

Behind the Name says, due to the popularity of the biblical character Daniel, "the name came into use in England during the Middle Ages. Though it became rare by the 15th century, it was revived after the Protestant Reformation."

It's applause 👏🏾 worthy how 📛Daniel has been in the 🔝Top 15 baby names for boys 💙 for over 50 years. 🤯 But I would really love to see 📛Daniel make the 🔝Top 10 baby boy 💙 names too — and make it one day... just maybe... to the 🥇#1 baby boy 💙 name. 🤞🏾
