NAME OF THE DAY: Summer

Happy Summer! 🌞 Today's name of focus will aptly be on the name: 📛Summer

📛Summer derives from the season of Summer of course but is originally from the old English sumor. A variant of Summer is 📛Sommer (the German word for Summer the season).

MyNameStats states, the sunny, warm state of California is of course where baby girls are most likely named Summer, 🌺 Hawaii too.

As of 2024, Summer is the 142nd most popular name for a girl to be named, Nameberry reports by way of the Social Security Administration popular list of baby names.

I had a co-worker with the middle name Summer and it definitely fit her carefree personality. I was a bit jealous when I found out she had Summer as her name I admit.

I love the name 📛Summer, it's very feminine and very pretty. And it's my second favorite name to used of the four seasons (Autumn🍂, Summer, Winter❄, Spring🌿) for a first name.
