CELEBRITY BABY NAME REVEAL: Nautas

Benji Madden of the 00s ๐Ÿค˜rock ๐ŸŽถband Good Charlotte shared the birth of his third child, a son๐Ÿ‘ถ with ๐ŸŽฅactress Cameron Diaz — in a ๐Ÿ˜Žcool Instagram ๐Ÿ“ขannouncement with his name as: ๐Ÿ“›๐ŸŒŠNautas! ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ“›๐ŸŒŠNautas is from the Latin root word Nauta and means: "sailor, navigator, voyager, one who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown."

๐Ÿ“›Nameberry๐Ÿ’ further explains ๐ŸŒŠNautas is a "nautical name that blends modern and ancient. Likely derived from the Latin nauta, Nautus may be interpreted as meaning "sailor, seafarer, mariner" — though Benji Madden offered the more figurative interpretation when announcing his son's birth. A one of a kind choice, Nautus might combine the appeal of ancient sounding names — such as Augustus, Titus, and Maximus — with the contemporary love for sea-inspired choices — like Ocean, Cove, and Caspian — with the on-trend sounds of names like Knox, Silas, Nash, and Atlas mixed in too. It may also bring to mind the Nautilus, marine cephalopods, known for their large, spiral shells — also used as the name for Captain Nemo's submarine in Jules Verne's classic novel, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea."

๐Ÿ“›๐ŸŒŠNautas is such a new name, ๐Ÿ“›NB๐Ÿ’ only just added the name onto their website seemingly. ๐Ÿคฏ

Initially, I thought ๐Ÿ“›๐ŸŒŠNautas was a made up name when I first heard it and therefore didn't like it. ๐Ÿ˜– But when I saw Madden's post on it my mind changed ๐Ÿค” reading the meaning. It's a pretty nice name after all ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿพ and I do love๐Ÿ’™sea๐ŸŒŠ inspired names. My only gripes: I keep thinking it's spelled how it's pronounced: N-a-u-t-u-s ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ‍♀️ and I somehow see nautical + naughty =  ๐Ÿ“›๐ŸŒŠNautas. ๐Ÿ˜…

How many Sarovers are there?

Sarover Aujla of the reality show  ❤️Love Is Blind๐Ÿซฃ UK๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง (season two) believes she is the only ๐Ÿ“›Sarover out there.

When she is in the pods meeting a potential romantic interest named Chris and they introduce themselves, he says: "I've never heard that name before in my life."

Sarover replies: "I've actually googled my name before I do think I'm one of the only ones."

I googled ๐Ÿง Sarover's name too and she may just be right... I couldn't find anything on a Sarover ๐Ÿค”spelled like hers beyond ๐Ÿ“›Sarover as a surname. However, I did find a ๐Ÿ“›Sarovar as a first name. I assumed since the two names are so similar, Sarover is a variant of Sarovar. But Sarovar is supposedly a masculine name (I would think Sarover more so because of the 'e' in it) of Sanskrit origins that means 'lake' or 'pond.' ๐ŸŒŠ

I like the name ๐Ÿ“›Sarover (especially the ๐Ÿ”‰'Sara' sounding part) because it's literally one of a kind, bonus being it's an Indian name. ✔ Hopefully Sarover Aujla finds another ๐Ÿ“›namesake ๐Ÿ‘ฏ at some point in time so they can have a cool bond being one of the few women named ๐Ÿ“›Sarover๐Ÿคž๐Ÿพ

CELEBRITY BABY NAME REVEAL: Aquaman

Influencer Trisha Paytas named her recently first born son: ๐Ÿ“›Aquaman! ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ—ฏ️๐Ÿ’™

Seriously, as in Aquaman the comic book superhero! ๐Ÿ’ฅ So I like the fact she had the guts to give her baby boy a cool ๐Ÿ˜Ž superhero name but... I have to admit this seems to be a bit too much... ๐Ÿ˜ฌ I'm not an Aquaman fan but even if she'd name her son Batman (who I do love) I'd still have a dropped jaw ๐Ÿ˜ฎ that there's a baby named after a comic book character! I have to wonder what if she chose a favorite villain (Joker, Magneto etc.) and went with that instead? ๐Ÿค”

Paytas on the other hand is a fan of Aquaman clearly. She says on her son's extremely one-of-a-kind name, "I've been wearing Aquaman T-shirts for years, since 2017 when the first Justice League came out. I have gone to so many Comic-Cons for Aquaman. And then I really fell in love when we rewatched Aquaman." Aquaman's name was actually predicted by ๐Ÿ‘ถbaby name๐Ÿ“› consultant Morgan Timm! ๐Ÿ‘€

Aquaman's (that feels so silly to write! ๐Ÿ˜›) middle name is the Biblical ๐Ÿ“›Moses, named after his father Moses Hacmon. Paytas said she considered Moses Jr. as Aquaman's first name. But with her other children, her daughters named ๐Ÿ“›Malibu Barbie (adorable!) and ๐Ÿ“›Elvis (wow!), Moses as a first name would have probably been too tame. Paytas says she was close to naming her son "Water," since her husband "loves water." "His whole philosophy was, 'We're just water.' I loved it, we should just name the baby Water."

I do like the shortened name or nickname Aquaman's parents could give their son: simply Aqua. One thing for sure, when he starts school, the other children will probably be tickled ๐Ÿ˜€ to have an ๐Ÿ“›Aquaman ๐ŸŒŠ๐Ÿ—ฏ️ in their class!
