I never met a Dexter but I knew of one: an old friend's nephew's name was Dexter. I was pretty wowed 😮 when she told me and commented the name was "interesting" or "cool."
I don't have a problem with giving 📛Dexter as a boy's name (mainly because I like the show Dexter 🤷🏾♀️) but I definitely don't like 📛Dexter for a girl's name. Okay, one point for originality 👌🏾 but it's just way too masculine. 😬 📛Dex as a nickname, now that is kinda cute... but it's still a boy's name. 😖
